Rental cost in Moscow reached ~100 thousand rubles by the end of 2025

In Q4 of last year, rental costs in Moscow decreased by 15% to 97.5 thousand rubles per month. The annual decline was 3%. In St. Petersburg, on the contrary, rental prices increased by 3% over 2025 — from 51 to 52.4 thousand rubles. In other localities, rental costs remained unchanged.

Interestingly, apartments are rented faster in Moscow than in St. Petersburg. Moscow rental listings stay active for an average of 28 days, while St. Petersburg listings stay for 40 days.
