▶️ Google has announced the Game Trials feature in Google Play Games. As the name suggests, this feature allows you to try the full version of a paid game for free. If you like it, you can easily purchase it and continue from where you left off, as your progress is saved. The Game Trials feature will soon appear in some paid mobile games, and later in Google Play Games for PC.
▶️ Moreover, in some paid games, you can buy the game once and get access to both the mobile version and the PC version. "Buy once, play anywhere," says Google. This feature is already available in the Reigns series, OTTTD, and Dungeon Crawler.
▶️ Google is also launching a Community Posts section for "dozens of popular games" in English, with "sections in other languages and for other games coming soon." This is a "dedicated space for sharing tips and recommendations in Google Play."
▶️ Starting today, you can use Sidekick "in some paid games downloaded from Play." According to Google, this is a "useful in-game overlay that provides up-to-date game information and AI-generated tips so you can focus on the game."
▶️ Finally, the company reports that it is expanding its game catalog by adding more paid titles. In the coming months, "the most anticipated indie games" will appear on Google Play: Moonlight Peaks, Sledding Game, and Low-Budget Repairs. They will be available on both mobile and PC, with progress synchronization.
