I came to the conclusion that standing out is not necessary. I'm talking specifically about differentiation by features, assuming that product quality remains high. But then how do you attract customers if you don't differ much from them?!
It's important to understand that people come to you to solve a specific problem. And your main task is not to give a person a lot of cool features they don't need, but to address that very pain point. Accordingly, during a call with a client, our main task is to understand what they need. After that, we focus on those features of our product that will meet the client's need. As a result, the client becomes convinced that their problem will be solved and stays with us.
You don't need to stand out. You need to solve the client's problem 😎
