A few thoughts on the past Oscars
– It's great that horror actors are finally getting attention (I hope this becomes a trend, not an exception; often their roles are much more complex and interesting than in the classic dramas that usually win awards)
– Chalamet – of course, turned out to be a shallow type, but stupidity doesn't negate the fact of strong work. Alas, we live in a time when creativity is secondary
– Overall, the Academy worked in the spirit of "to each their own," splitting the main awards between "Sinners" and "Battle for Battle." No one was offended, well done
– Except for Jordan, everything turned out predictable, as is usually the case in recent years, but the predictability here is largely adequate, though it's a pity that Skarsgård didn't get the statuette after all
– I'll repeat, "Train Dreams" is a wonderful film, watch it, even considering that the movie missed all nominations
