⚡️ Historic Milestone: SpaceX Launches Over 10,000 Starlink Satellites

Elon Musk and SpaceX have achieved what seemed like science fiction just 10 years ago: putting more than 10,000 Starlink satellites into orbit. To be precise, there are now 10,049, and almost all of them are operational.

The two most recent launches on March 17 added another 54 spacecraft. The Falcon 9 first stage, which had already flown 14 and 11 times respectively, once again returned to the drone ships - reusability works flawlessly.
In total, SpaceX has launched > 11,500 satellites, but 1,500 have burned up in the atmosphere - this is a standard decommissioning process. Only 7 years have passed since it all began in 2019.
