My name is Sergey Nosov.
Most of my life is connected with sales, marketing and product management.
For example, I was responsible for redesigning monetization models for vertical B2B-SaaS and managed to triple revenue in 2 years while maintaining EBITDA.
Elated by success, I left my job to start my own FinTech product, which grew for 1.5 years and then died a heroic death in a couple of months after the Central Bank raised the key rate to 16%.
And also..
I was a manager and lead tracker of the Rosatom quantum accelerator, where together with a cool team I helped deepTech projects find their product-market fit where at the start it seemed impossible.
In this channel I write about how IT products can increase their profits through proper pricing and monetization models.
- How to assess customers' willingness to pay
- Which features will bring money and which won't
- Which segments to choose at different stages of the product
- How not to make mistakes when developing a monetization model
- How to put together a bundle that will boost profits
- Well, and all sorts of psychological tricks in pricing, successful and not-so-successful cases, numbers, benchmarks and humor
You won't find copy-paste news from other channels, worn-out checklists or generic advice here. I won't dive into technical nuances or burden you with formulas (well, maybe only occasionally)
There is no advertising in this channel either.
I write several posts a week - things you can immediately try to apply in your business.
For example, here are a few popular posts from January:
1) Price is more important than product. Period.
2) How not to drown in client wishlists during interviews
3) Discounts without chaos. A simple control rule
4) In every joke.. there is a grain of insight
