An interesting observation we made during the accelerator. It would seem that projects coming to us grow both in terms of product and in understanding their customer and the value they bring, approaching sales, so the requested amount for 10% of the company should increase as the company's value grows, but no. On average, upon entering the accelerator, the request is 24 times larger than at the final. The record request is 8 billion.

The explanation for the phenomenon is simple: the main thing we do is confront projects with reality. We introduce projects to real customers, investors, mentors, trackers, and other startups. Founders quickly realize that they need to speak not figuratively about 100500 million, but confirmed numbers come quickly. Therefore, after going through the path of breaking rose-colored glasses and economic balancing, almost all finalists receive their funding - through grants, investor money, and startup studio funds. These are no longer hundreds of millions, but usually money that allows them to make the product and survive until the next stage.

How to check if the investment request is adequate? Investors respond positively, otherwise the request is not adequate.
