House of the Dragon Season 2: Why the Flame Went Out — and Can It Be Rekindled

I like House of the Dragon. Yes, it's imperfect, to say the least. Yes, the second season is just one big drawn-out prologue (although the dragon battles were worth not being distracted from). Yes, there's a chance that everything will turn into a mess given the showrunner's quarrel with Martin. But I still believe in this project. In a new article for Kanobu, I outlined what went wrong in the second season and what needs to be done in the third to get back on track as the best series in the IP universe (now, after The Knight, that's become harder).
