⚡️ China. Advanced chip production within ten years

Professor Kwon Seok-jun from Sungkyunkwan University: China is capable of creating its own analogue of ASML's lithography machines in about 10 years. They are necessary for producing the most advanced microchips.

China is actively developing photolithography equipment: light sources, optics, and precision mechanics. At the Semicon China exhibition, domestic DUV lithography systems have already been demonstrated, and some startups are experimenting with plasma light sources.

The expert notes that China is betting on scale, as engineers can conduct significantly more experiments and accumulate experience faster.
💥 With state support and a huge domestic market, the country expects to achieve technological independence in the semiconductor field.
