More precisely, it's the budget that's being eaten up, disappearing into the blind spot between the manufacturer and the store shelf.

I wrote an article about my team's case with the company "Grand-Alfa". One of the largest feed manufacturers in Russia.
Previously, their analytics lived in Excel, but not a single one of my setup tips was applied. (Blasphemy, if you ask me 😡)

Because of this, the company could see how much they shipped to the distributor. But had no idea what happened next:
- which stores actually sell;
- which regions are growing, and which are just stockpiling goods.

What we did:
- stitched together 1C and CISLINK into a single repository;
- built dashboards showing the product's path to a specific shelf;
- eliminated dependence on ad-hoc analysis: log in → see the picture → understand who to praise and who to kick. No calls to Semyon Semyonovich.

Inside: full case + 7 analytics mistakes of manufacturers.
