🆘 Long-awaited Optimization. Microsoft promises to "eat" less RAM

Microsoft has finally taken Windows 11 optimization seriously. They promise to reduce RAM consumption at idle, so the system "eats" less RAM and leaves more resources for applications.

In practice, this means that the Start menu, windows, and animations will become faster and stop lagging without reason after a couple of hours of work.

They also promise to speed up File Explorer: launch, navigation, search, and copying large files.

⚡️ Plus, WinUI 3, to which the interface is being migrated, is written in C++ and does not use web technologies, which should speed up rendering and reduce memory usage.

Great! Moving away from the mix of Win32, UWP, and React to WinUI 3.
