🧠How to use other models on Litcritic?

In the latest update, we added the ability for users to choose models.
By default, the Basic model is set - this is the same model that was previously used for all functions.
This means that if everything was fine for you before, you don't need to change anything.

To change the model, you can click on the arrow on the Write button, select Prose mode from the dropdown menu, and then in the Select model window.

🔍Where the selected model is used:
The selected model is used for the following functions: Write, Rewrite, Describe, Expand, Scene Generation, and Draft Creation.

👀What the selected model does not affect:
The selected model does not affect all types of analyses (Analysis, Critique, Beta-reading, Comprehensive analysis), Brainstorming and generation functions inside the Story Passport (Style, Synopsis, Characters, World Elements, Structure)

❓Why change the model:
We added the ability to choose models to make it more convenient for you. Some people like the results of Claude, others prefer Gemini. For different tasks, you can choose different models - for simpler tasks, cheaper models; for important text sections, flagship models. This will allow you to both reduce token consumption where quality can be sacrificed, and significantly improve the quality of results at a higher cost.

⚡When choosing, pay attention to the model cost:
Basic - same consumption as before.
Excellent - increased token consumption.
Claude Opus - most expensive
GPT Mini/Nano, Google Flash, Grok Fast - cheapest
