A while ago we wanted to launch an online school for corporate skills, i.e., soft skills for those who want to grow within corporations. The idea didn't take off, and we didn't even really launch or research it; we just brainstormed, got excited, put together a website, and then dropped it. But the funny thing was the name of this initiative (I can't count such a weak attempt as a startup).
We chose the name Corp Skills (Corporate Skills) - short, clear, and well reflects the field of activity. Plus, the domain in the .ru zone was available. It was so perfect that we bought it immediately.
After a while, someone asked us why we had such a terrible name? It turned out that since the website address is written as one word, it can be read differently. We read CorpSkills.ru, but it can be read as Corp's Kills, which translates to corporate murders, and audibly it sounds even worse - Corps Skills and Corpse Kills sound the same.

Naturally, we quickly changed the domain.
