Some time ago I wrote about IPO (reference above the picture), today I found a chart that perfectly confirms the post. Looking at it, you can easily notice that almost all projects went public at a much higher price than they were valued afterwards.
For us, as project founders, we can draw a clear conclusion. An IPO is a moment when we sell our company as expensively as possible, we do this to make money on our startup, and also to give early investors the opportunity to earn as much as possible.
