Today I noticed a good example of MVP and unnecessary features. In ChatGPT, there is no way to change your password from the user account. There is no user account at all, i.e., no standard page with an avatar, personal info, and password change. Theoretically, you can change your password when you log out and try to log in, and there is a "forgot password" button. It's inconvenient, but possible. Why did they do it? Because it's an MVP. They know that people won't refuse to buy because of this, so it's not important, and they can avoid spending team resources on such pages now. They will finish it all later, but for now, the team is focused on the main thing.

This is done by OpenAI, for which their own product could write these pages. But they don't want to spend 0.00000001% of their funds and resources on it. And we often spend 1-2% on things even less significant. Apparently, it's time to ask each feature in the product: would they buy without it?
