Scaling with State Support: The Story of PROKERAMIKA — From Paste Development to Industrial 3D Printer

✅ Today, PROKERAMIKA creates solutions for 3D printing with ceramics, and it all started with a university startup at Skoltech.

🎓 The first step towards creating its own production was the victory of founder Igor Pchelintsev in the "UMNIK" program from the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in 2021.

▶️ The grant allowed the development of ceramic paste. This is a key material for 3D printing with ceramics, on which the strength, precision, and stability of products depend.

🌐 Currently, the Prokeramika team relies on the scientific and experimental base of several Moscow laboratories and is developing its own site at JSC "TsAT" (part of the Rostec State Corporation).

Here, the 3D printer "PROKERAMIKA" was created; one of these complexes is already operating at the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute." The installation allows printing parts of complex geometry for mechanical engineering, aircraft manufacturing, biomedicine, and microelectronics.

🏁 In 2024, the company received support from the Foundation under the "Start-Machine Tool Building" competition and began developing a prototype of an additive manufacturing system for producing complex ceramic products.

📌 The Foundation's support helped the team led by Igor not only launch their startup but also attract industrial partners, and with them, the first venture investments!

🔔 Right now, the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises is accepting applications for two competitions:

⚪️ "Start-Machine Tool Building" — for individuals and early-stage startups, grant up to 5 million rubles. Applications are open until March 2.

⚪️ "Development-Machine Tool Building" — for enterprises that have already brought products to market, support up to 30 million rubles. Applications are accepted until March 30.
