I conceived "After the Credits" as a kind of alternative to everything that was on the market at the time: large sites like Kinopoisk or Film.ru had already turned into dumps of endless content for the sake of content (and the situation with all the big players is still the same), academic projects like "Iskusstvo Kino" have always been aimed at a narrow audience, often snobbish, considering only elite arthouse as cinema.
I wanted my site to be for everyone who loves cinema, regardless of genre, budget, country of production, and wants to read heartfelt and interesting texts about it. That's why I attracted and continue to attract a wide variety of authors: from "Star Wars" fans to fans of Romanian auteur cinema, from musical lovers to those who follow every new project in the "Major Grom" cinematic universe, from horror experts to documentary connoisseurs.
Over these 6 years, we have come a long way, steadily developed into a recognizable project in film circles, done many cool interviews with domestic (and not only) filmmakers (and not only), written hundreds of articles, almost closed down in 2022, and continue to delight about 40 thousand people monthly.
I don't know what awaits us ahead, although there are some ideas, but the most important thing is that during this time I have gained a team of like-minded people and friends with whom we will do many more cool things both within "After the Credits" and beyond.
