Just a week ago, I was talking about the hh.ru index, which reflects the ratio of vacancies to job seekers. The higher it is, the fewer jobs and more applicants. At the time of the post, this index was 9.8. Yesterday, updated statistics were released, showing the index jumped to 11.4.

An index above 12 signals a labor market crisis, and we have almost reached that mark.

Keep in mind that the high season is starting now, so such a high number is temporary. Looking at the chart, you can see that in March last year, the index was higher than in the two neighboring months. However, even then it was still half as much — only 5.9.
