❓How many hours does it take to read the comic "Gifts of the Wandering Ice"?

Remember that post with statistics? There was this observation: on average, a reader spends only 10-15 seconds on one page of a webcomic.

At that pace, how long would it take to read "Gifts of the Wandering Ice" - a comic already over 1200 pages long?

Let's calculate:
— minimum time (10 seconds per page) - only 3 hours 20 minutes for all four books, like watching a movie (director's cut)
— maximum time (15 seconds per page) - 5 hours (like 2/3 of The Lord of the Rings)

Well, the Russian version hasn't caught up with the English one yet, it's shorter, with only 629 pages so far.
So reading it from start to finish will take about two hours:
— minimum 1 hour 45 minutes
— maximum 2 hours 37 minutes

That's how years of a comic artist's work are compressed into a few hours (in May, my comic will be 16 years old, and all these years the pages have been released strictly on schedule).
That's how the idea that "the comic is long, it takes a long time to read, so your whole life will be wasted" doesn't hold up to statistical scrutiny.
It's even a bit sad, actually.
