What is more profitable in Russia today: creating a unique technology or developing an entire ecosystem?
As part of the additive technologies conference Additive Minded (Moscow, January 27-30), we will hold a practical workshop where we will analyze how 3D printing technologies are ceasing to be an engineering experiment and are becoming the foundation of new business models, production chains, and investment strategies.
2025 has been a turning point: the Russian venture market has shifted its focus from IT and fintech to HardTech and industrial equipment.
A striking example is the deal by the Vostok fund, which invested 250 million rubles in the company Am.Tech. Over the year, investments were also received by the companies Proceramika and M-Shape, which occupy niches in the segments of ceramic and metal-polymer 3D printing.
Such fund activity shows that additive technologies are moving from laboratories to serial production and real markets.
Workshop focus:
🔹 Proceramika: How to build a deep-tech business on additive technologies from scratch? Secrets of commercializing a unique development – 3D printing of high-temperature ceramics for aviation and energy.
🔹 3dsla.ru: How to grow from a hobby and community into Russia's first manufacturer of industrial SLA printers? The story of creating a full cycle: from software and electronics to a metal printing machine.
In practice, we will discuss:
• Strategies for entering B2B and B2G markets
• How to protect technological advantage
• What investors value in such projects
Organizers: ScrumTrek, the Manufacturers Club, and the Skolkovo Investors Club, as well as the International Investors Organization INVESTORO.
Pavel Bilenko and Vlas Strigunenko will talk about how 3D printing changes business logic through the framework of a business model canvas. We will discuss examples of business models built on additive technologies.
Representatives of the companies 3DSLA.RU and Proceramika will talk about how they created frontier businesses in the development and production of 3D printers and an integrated ecosystem in Russia.
Vitaly Polekhin will provide a comment from a representative of the Skolkovo Investors Club: what metrics to look at when evaluating projects in the field of additive technologies today.
Targeted networking in an informal setting will allow for exchanging opinions and finding new target contacts of partners and like-minded people.
📅 Date and time: 28.01.2026, 19:00-21:00
