Happy Student's Day to all involved! 👩‍🎓

In honor of the holiday, here are a few facts about my student years:
1. I entered St. Petersburg State University on a budget-funded place based on my Unified State Exam results. This is for my students who ask whether it's really possible to honestly get high scores on the Unified State Exam. It is possible if you work hard and prepare thoroughly. I never knew how to cheat 🙈
2. My first scientific research was written at the Department of Mathematical Linguistics. At that time, I published articles on extracting keywords from texts using the AntConc program and studied Python. Those were the days! Now I need to somehow befriend AI 😂
3. I have never attended the official diploma ceremony. When I finished my bachelor's degree, it was due to COVID restrictions; when I finished my master's degree, it coincided with my birthday, and I was traditionally away.
4. Over 6 years of study, by modest estimates, I presented at more than 30 scientific conferences. Among them, besides my native St. Petersburg State University and other St. Petersburg universities, were conferences at Moscow State University, Russian State University for the Humanities (Moscow), Kazan Federal University (Kazan), Donetsk National University (Donetsk), and the University of Zurich.
5. Despite the division into departments, I equally enjoyed many subjects and charismatic teachers in both linguistic and literary disciplines. To this day, I combine in my teaching a love for the beautiful Russian language and a respectful attitude towards great Russian literature.
