πŸ“š My son and I went to a clearance sale yesterday due to the closure of a large bookstore in our city - and we were a bit horrified. We are simple people: we usually buy books during some Ozon sale for 100-200 rubles and don't go to bookstores, so we are a bit out of touch and were very, very surprised for a long time. Seriously, there's some madness going on there.

- Books are insanely expensive even after 50-80% discounts. A thin paperback brochure can still cost 500 rubles or more after all discounts.

- Many books have stickers warning that the text contains something about drugs, alcohol, and other horrors. They are incredibly ugly and huge, and removing these stickers without damaging the cover will be impossible.

- More stickers! Some books don't have a price listed, but instead have a huge QR code with a caption: scan and find out the price! This is a new, separate kind of madness.

In short, we looked at the books, mentally estimated which ones we would buy on marketplaces later, the child bought a ten-color pen at the book sale, and we went home.

Book world, you've gone crazy.
