Forgot to share: I analyzed the first episodes of the finale of "The Boys" on Kanobu. Overall, a brisk start — Kripke wasn't afraid to immediately get rid of one of the key characters, made plenty of ironic remarks about the quality of finales (the discussion inside referenced "Reacher" from the same Prime Video, but it's clear it's about the trend in general), and leaned even more into topical satire, weaving in religious undertones.
Of course, the series still suffers from self-repetition and endless clashes between opposing sides without any consequences. But by now, it's time to get used to that. Otherwise, it's a more than confident start. I'm waiting for the resolution. And preferably without an "epic" final battle, if you know what I mean.
