'The Outcome' neither irritates nor captivates: it just exists. Cameron Diaz returns from yet another hiatus with minimal material to work with (incidentally, they reunited with Reeves 30 years after the film 'Feeling Minnesota'), Martin Scorsese in the modest role of Hawk's first manager looks like the only one who understood what kind of movie was being made and played it honestly.
