Important news for cancer patients: innovative therapy methods that were previously only available for a fee or as part of clinical trials have been included in the compulsory health insurance (CHI) program.

🏥 How to get treatment:
✅ Treatment is available under the CHI policy for Russian citizens with medical indications.
✅ A referral is issued by the attending oncologist after diagnosis confirmation.
✅ Drug costs are covered by the Federal CHI Fund.

✅ Therapy is provided in specialized medical centers licensed to provide high-tech care.

🎯 What is included in the CHI program:

🔹 Personalized mRNA cancer vaccines - drugs developed individually for each patient that "train" their immune system to recognize and destroy tumor cells.

🔹 Peptide vaccine "Oncopept" - used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer.

🔹 CAR-T cell therapy - an immunotherapy method where the patient's own T-lymphocytes are genetically modified to precisely recognize and destroy cancer cells. Particularly effective for leukemias and lymphomas.
The first patient in Russia received a personalized mRNA vaccine for melanoma in April 2026.
