If you feel that singing is not as free as you'd like, it's not always due to incorrect technique. Often the issue lies completely elsewhere, causing tension, excessive control, and unwanted reactions in the vocal apparatus. And I'm talking about psychological issues.
This can be worked on in different ways—depending on how deep you are willing to "dive" to understand it. Below are the main formats that have already helped many of our students and can divide your vocal lessons into "BEFORE" and "AFTER".
1. Psychological marathon for vocalists "I Can Sing" (recorded) is suitable if you are not ready to open up one-on-one with a specialist and want to start independently and gradually understanding your feelings.
During the process, you will begin to feel your body and voice better, notice where tension arises, and learn to release it properly. The materials can be viewed at your own pace, returning to them as many times as needed. Reviews of the marathon can be seen here.
2. Consultation with a vocal psychologist is suitable if you want to discuss your specific case with a specialist and understand where your own brain is hindering your vocal development.
For example, if your voice is tense, you have a strong fear of the stage or judgment, you find it hard to let go of control, or you forget lyrics while singing.
During the meeting, you will thoroughly analyze your situation and identify the specific causes of these reactions. After the consultation, it becomes clear what exactly to focus on and how to structure further psychological work.
3. Psychological session with Veronika is deeper work.
Here you don't just analyze the causes, but work directly with them. The process addresses the internal reactions and states that prevent you from singing freely and steadily.
Typically, one personal meeting is enough, but sometimes 2–3 may be needed.Choose the format that suits you best, and allow yourself to finally unlock the full potential of your voice🎤
