Briefly on the NSR for Kommersant:
First, the failure to meet cargo flow plans is a natural consequence of the changed macroeconomic and geopolitical reality. In such large-scale, strategic projects, interdependencies are complex and sometimes not always obvious, and a delay in one process or stage inevitably affects the overall timeline. Therefore, deviating from initial plans is normal. It is better to adapt than to show rigidity and eventually break down completely.
Second, despite enormous external pressure, the implementation of the NSR project continues.
Third, if in the future the NSR manages to connect the North-South and Chennai-Vladivostok transport corridors, it will become a real (I emphasize, only in this case) connecting bridge for Russia's Asian partners.
And finally, I never tire of repeating that the transit agenda for the NSR is secondary. Its main task is in cabotage transportation and ensuring connectivity of the northern isolated regions with the rest of the country.
