There's a joke in every.. share of insights
So, there was a funny post about a guy who hired a nanny for himself.
It described in detail why + what it gave him in the end.
They also wrote that his friend repeated the experiment. And also got great results.
I read it, laughed, and forgot.
But a couple of days ago I saw an ad where a girl offers nanny services for developers.
I don't know if it's a joke or not.
BUT!
The girl's offer itself is an example of a classic mistake in product packaging!
What do we see in the description?
1. Maximum about features
- I remind
- I cook
- I help with household chores
2. Minimum about value (and even that is vague)
- health
- productivity
Yet there are real cases with a treasure trove of value formulations right before our eyes:
— x2 commits on GitHub within 3 weeks
— you'll start closing tasks again
— you'll be able to take on freelance work, increase your income by 46%
It happens so often..
Clients in interviews talk about one thing, but we in products talk about our own
Plus "negotiable price" is a signal of weak willingness-to-pay analysis
What do you think, will it take off?
