This scene is so complex in terms of information delivery, logic, emotions, and overall character motivation/worldview that for once I wrote a text draft of the further dialogue between Aidan and Madeline β I usually don't do that, I don't have any clear detailed script, only a general plan. I just keep in my head which scene follows which, what roughly happens in this scene, what its mood is, key frames, and what it should ultimately lead to. I think through all the details and actual lines already at the storyboard stage, but here I suddenly got meticulous and even bothered the editor lol. Also lately I've been heavily polishing the dialogues themselves, trying to make them more lively and concise, because you remember how my characters love to chat π But even with all the efforts, I still have to draw at least 7 more pages of the attic scene.
I haven't forgotten about the Dreamers either, I'm just finishing lining a new page. Once again I stumble on drawing arms from wrist to shoulder, but I'm diligently improving this part of anatomy, surrounded by photos and references π₯² I'll finish this part of the work, send it to Dikiy for coloring, and then actually start on the Sorcerers' storyboard, so expect the continuation (and completion) of the donat scene soon.
