🤫 DeepMind's Hassabis Proposes 'Einstein Test' as AGI Criterion
Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind and 2024 Nobel laureate in chemistry, discussed what obstacles he believes still stand in the way of artificial general intelligence.
The core idea is the 'Einstein Test': an AI system is trained on knowledge available before 1901, and then must independently arrive at Einstein's 1905 discoveries, including the special theory of relativity.
"When that happens, such systems will be close to creating truly new concepts," Hassabis said during a conversation titled 'Agents, AGI, and the Next Big Scientific Breakthrough'.
We take the timeline for AGI seriously) 🤩
🔥 It seems we will soon see super AI. In anticipation via link
