Let's continue untangling the frightening tangle of thoughts, fears, and emotions. Suppose, by answering the questions, you figured out "Why do I feel bad here?" and decided there are good reasons to leave. But the question "Why don't I leave?" is still relevant.
In a situation where there is no ready solution, uncertainty is the scariest: fear of losing income, taking a long time to find a new place, disappointing loved ones, learning something anew. "Why don't I go there?" - because it's scary. You can reduce anxiety by clarifying this frightening uncertainty.
Describe in detail where you would go:
❓What exactly in your current job doesn't suit you (identified in the previous post) - these will be 🚩🚩
❓What is mandatory for you in a job: interesting tasks, income, team, development, stability, etc.
❓If you imagine an ideal workday in a year, what does it look like from morning to evening: schedule, remote work, team, tasks, communications, etc.
❓What qualities of yours do you want to use most in your work?
Knowing in detail what you are striving for - it's no longer moving into the unknown, it's moving to where you want to be! To get there, you also need to think about the path itself:
❓What qualities/skills/abilities of yours will help you?
❓Who could support you during the transition?
❓What are you missing for the first step? How to change that?
❓If you divide the path to a new job into 5 steps, what would they look like?
❓What action towards a new job can you take this week without quitting: talk to people in that field, take on a small project, take a course, update your resume, etc.?
It's important to understand one thing: the task now is not to "heroically drop everything," but to honestly look at where exactly you want to go and what path is feasible for you. Small, concrete steps based on your real resources always work better than another round of self-criticism. At each step, you can ask again: "what will help me?" and don't forget to notice your successes.
