Being part of various business communities, I observe dozens of entrepreneurs. Over the past few years, I've realized that the difference between those who grow and those who stay stagnant is not about the niche or the team.
Those who truly grow start their day with one key task. Not a list of 15 things. Not checking email. Not calls. It's the task that moves the business forward. And they hit it every day.
Those who stay at the same revenue for years are always very busy. Calls, operations, approvals. But if you ask them at the end of the day what they did to grow the business... They can't give a concrete answer. When it feels like you're working like crazy but nothing changes in the numbers, you're probably doing a lot of necessary things, but not the main thing.
Busyness is not productivity. It's its imitation.
One question that helps me avoid falling into this trap:
"If I could only do one thing today, what would it be?"
As a reminder to myself, I even generated a wallpaper for my desktop. Feel free to use it!
