At the end of last year, I started my blog on Youtube. Actually, I had been dreaming of this idea for a very long time, but I just couldn't break through some internal contradictions and beliefs.
And the topic of the first video was just about one of those beliefs. I tried to dissect the thought that "everything has been invented before us," which had been bothering me for a long time. Like, why do something that has already been invented and done before you? And most likely better than you could do it.
I seem to have managed to deal with this thing. This video became a kind of therapy for me on the topic. And I decided to continue by analyzing other limiting beliefs.
And this time it's about perfectionism.
Perhaps this has been and remains the biggest obstacle for me. So I decided to thoroughly understand the topic. That's what my new video is about — what perfectionism essentially is, where it comes from, and how to deal with it.
The video turned out to be challenging. During editing, I repeatedly wanted to give up because I saw a ton of flaws — with sound, picture, script. But I still defeated the inner perfectionist (at least this time!) and finished what I started.
I'm sharing the result with you. If the video turns out to be useful for you, be sure to share feedback here or in the comments under the video.

Thank you!
And yes, in the video I promised to post a more detailed analysis of the scientific work I reference, plus share some other developments. But the material turned out to be too voluminous, so I published it on my blog — here.
In it, I analyzed different types of perfectionism, the Zeigarnik effect, and provided several techniques that will allow you to cope with your inner perfectionist so that you can finally start creating.
