For as long as I can remember, I've been constantly looking for interesting activities. And when I find one, I dive into it headfirst. In the past, I spent a whole year, maybe more, learning to make tattoos. I drew sketches in every free minute, filmed the process, edited, looked for volunteers who for some reason decided to trust a novice master, and yes, I tattooed on people's skin! On myself, by the way, too :)
Then life turned in such a way that a beloved job appeared on my path, which unfortunately left no room for tattoos. And then drawing on people turned into drawing pictures on paper. It was an immersion into a new amazing world of commercial illustration! In both cases, I am self-taught. I found artists' videos, watched every stroke and movement of the masters, repeated and searched for myself, and really enjoyed everything related to drawing.
And yes, then a difficult turn in life happened, which knocked me out of my creative rut. And I haven't drawn for several years now :(
Maybe from the outside, all these endeavors and attempts look like an inability to finish what you start, but I perceive it differently. I am always unsettled by a lack of stability. Where there are many unknowns and few supports, it can remain in the category of "hobby" for a long time and not turn into something serious. Over time, I came to the conclusion that not every new hobby should bring money and become a life's work. The courage to try new things and honestly admit to myself that "I couldn't do it" has become completely normal for me. From each attempt, an incomparable experience is born, and a bunch of entertaining stories that surprise my surroundings) As well as a way to add emotions that are missing in my main job.
Channel with drawings still exists, for those interested in how you can master something new from scratch on pure enthusiasm))
