🎚 Major LitCritic AI Update: Comprehensive Analysis, Chat, Versions, and More

In February, LitCritic received a major update: comprehensive analysis of a work with three levels of breakdown, a chat about your project, document version history, focus mode for writing, automatic chapter markup, a support widget, and an updated author dashboard. Here's what's new and how to use it.

💾 Comprehensive Analysis of a Work
Now you can get three related types of analysis of one document in one place. This is one of LitCritic's most powerful tools for deep work on a piece.

How it works: first, the system goes through the chapters in order (sequential analysis), preserving the "memory" of the story — when analyzing each subsequent chapter, the context of previous ones is taken into account. Based on the completed chapter analysis, two additional reports become available: a general analysis of the work and a character analysis.

➖ Chapter-by-Chapter Breakdown
This is a sequential analysis where each chapter of your work is analyzed in order, accumulating all information about your story.

For each chapter, you get:
Synopsis — a brief summary of the chapter;

Conflict — main and secondary conflicts;

Characters — plot development, unresolved storylines;

Worldbuilding — geography, culture, resources;

Possible Contradictions — elements that may contradict events in this or previous chapters;

Timeline — chapter chronology;

Foreshadowing Events — what may affect the further story;

Genre Analysis — the genre component of the chapter.

You can run an automatic pass through all chapters at once or analyze them one by one manually.

➖ General Analysis
Built only on the basis of the completed sequential chapter analysis. Provides a holistic picture: conflicts, plot flow, themes, genre compliance, and recommendations for strengthening weak spots. The report includes general information, unresolved storylines linked to chapters, tips for genre alignment, and much more!

➖ Character Analysis
A separate report on the protagonist (depth, motivation, arc), archetypes of all characters, and other characters with indication of chapters where they appear. When re-run, versions are saved — you can compare results.

As a result, you get the most detailed, granular, and accurate report that examines each chapter of your text with context, can look at the entire story as a whole, and separately analyze characters!

⏺ Project Chat:
LitCritic now has a chat where you can ask questions about your work and the current document. The AI responds considering your text, Story Passport, and selected context.

⏺Document Versions
For users who have purchased tokens at least once, document version history is available.

⏺ Focus Mode
Focus mode is a full-screen editor without side panels, project tree, or extra elements. Suitable when you need to concentrate only on the text.

⏺ Chapter Markup: Search and Automatic Splitting
For comprehensive analysis and document navigation, chapters (H1 headings) are needed. If the text has lines like "Chapter 1", "Chapter 2", or "Chapter 3" but they are not yet formatted as headings, you can use automatic chapter search.

On all pages of the application, a support button is displayed in the lower right corner. Click it to create a ticket or continue correspondence.

⏺ Updated Author Dashboard
The author dashboard has been redesigned and is now more informative.
