Monthly Results
I came up with a test "What Prevents You from Losing Weight" that clearly shows which areas are lagging and what needs improvement. And the coolest part is that I coded and deployed the app myself that implements this test.
I was as happy as a child.
Soon I'll show it to you, and you'll be able to take it too.
I didn't stop there. I went further and coded a page on my website in English.
I felt like the ruler of the world😂
I bragged to my mom. Mom said I'm very smart. Who am I to not believe my mom?)
No, I haven't retrained as a programmer. I still excel at understanding how to lose weight without going crazy, even with hormones, diabetes, and other stuff))
It's just a great feeling when you can't approach a task for three months, and then you just do it in two hours.
🔜Usually, I get stuck here (I suspect I'm not alone): while you're thinking about how to "start correctly," you could already be halfway there.
Client Results
Here are some:
- a jacket that the client outgrew back in 2022 now fits;
- jeans that previously wouldn't button up now fit;
- afternoon sleepiness and sugar cravings are gone;
- a summer skirt didn't end up in the trash as hopeless; it almost fits now :)
The most important thing is that we went through gradual changes in diet. Smoothly, without overexertion.
🔜The conclusion will be in the "thanks, captain" category, but I'll say it. The most important thing is consistency. At first, it seems like you're just eating that protein and walking steps, and there's no change on the scale. But a cumulative effect builds up, and then bam, you have to tuck your sweater into your underwear so they don't fall off (true story).
The main thing is to make sure you're building a normal system, not exhausting yourself on another crazy diet. If you're taking reasonable targeted steps and there's no result immediately, don't give up!
Monthly Failure
I got so epicly poisoned that I couldn't eat properly for two weeks. Almost everything made me nauseous; I could only eat chicken broth and rice. Also, buns went down great: soft, sweet, not nauseating))
I had no desire to move at all. As a result, my activity for the month was 3K steps per day compared to my usual 8-10K. I also went to the gym less often and didn't train at full strength.
But I sorted out the gym quickly enough, gradually got back into it, and have already returned to my previous pace.
🔜In moments like these, it's especially noticeable why a foundation is needed: even when everything goes to hell, you don't revert to "factory settings," and you get back on track very quickly.
Hate
My eyebrows are still bothering commenters on TikTok and YouTube: "Have you thought about doing something with your eyebrows? It's awful."
Well, what can I say? What a boring life they must have to pick on someone else's eyebrows🥲
Besides that, I was told that "such smart alecks have gathered here; people have hormones and illnesses, and you're all so smart, mommy's experts."
But mom told me I'm smart, so what's their problem?))
Seriously, such comments show how we love to find simple explanations for complex things.
🔜Main takeaway: as soon as you start doing something, not only do results appear, but also people who don't like it. Whether it's losing weight, running a blog, or raising children. The key is not to start doubting what already works because of the noise.
Plans for June:
- run an advent in the club. This time we have operation "Strawberry Coma": celebrating the arrival of summer, implementing simple life hacks, and walking steps)
