⛽️ 🇷🇺At a seminar of the Russian Ministry of Energy, it was stated that if additional incentives for the development of TriZ are not created in the country, by 2050 Russia risks falling behind the planned targets of the Energy Strategy for natural gas production by 450 billion cubic meters.

Independent expert Anton Sokolov expressed the opinion that Russia needs a separate taxation system for TriZ gas. A comprehensive approach should take into account fiscal, technological, and market aspects.

First, in his opinion, subsoil users need tax holidays.

He also proposed introducing a coefficient or index of drilling complexity (especially for multi-lateral wells), which would allow the subsoil user to share risks with the state. At the same time, companies could be required to develop technologies in exchange for using support measures.

Third, Anton Sokolov considers it important to develop the domestic market, with an emphasis on gas chemistry.
