And what about me last year?
📌Teaching groups became easier, less anxiety! I can say that going against panic fear is not easy. And I won't advise "just do it and the fear will gradually go away." Because I worked comprehensively myself - with a psychologist, then several sessions with a coach, and started with webinars, and only then live. And I still know for sure that I can't speak at a conference yet. That's a different level, too high for me. But there is something to strive for, because I found it interesting.
📌I decided to delve into coaching, but while the fear of public speaking was great, I considered individual work and found an interesting field for myself - coaching. I completed an 8-month training, and it captivated me so much that I want to continue - that's why you are here❤️
📌The topic of health became important - I noticed a pattern: for two years in a row, in the same season, my neck would get pinched. And then a series of procedures, injections, massages, acupuncture. My body was signaling, but I ignored it. I had a choice: start taking care of myself or feel worse every year. I chose the former;) I went for massages, added another workout per week, took prescribed medications and vitamins - I feel much better.
📌Got a dog) Oh, that was a difficult decision; I weighed the pros and cons for a year, chose a breed that fit my lifestyle, talked myself out of it and into it, knowing how hard the first year would be. But then I gave in) Those who have always had a dog will understand this desire. Now I have a more mature and responsible approach. Lots of discipline and cuddles)
📌Also, all year I learned to say no. Yes, that was the hardest thing for me. Not taking on extra work that I didn't enjoy, not meeting friends when I had no energy, not settling for less when I knew it wasn't right for me. Coaching helped me a lot with this; here I was the client. It took me 5 sessions to implement changes in my life. I am proud of myself and coaching as a tool that I have in my life!)
Listing all these areas, I see that I didn't stand still, but I didn't force myself either; I listened more to my desires and my body. When I realize all this, I want to praise myself and note that it wasn't easy to balance work, study, childcare, and walking the dog at 6 am. But I did it! Wow, what a great job I did! With such thoughts, it's indeed easier to continue than when you only see your failures and unfulfilled goals.
Try it too! You'll definitely like it!❤️
