"You're just lucky with genetics!
Of course, it's easy for you to talk, you have a good metabolism!"

When I hear this, I don't know how to react. Because from the outside, only the final result is visible, but the fascinating seven-year series behind my 'genetics' and 'luck' modestly stayed off-screen.

Now, when I'm almost 43, my metabolism should be sadder than at 25.

However, it was at 25 that I started puffing up like good yeast. At 162 cm tall, 10 kilograms stuck to me, and I felt, to put it mildly, awful.

My sides, which I hated, spilled out of my jeans. Under my bra, there were rolls that bulged through my clothes. I felt like that pig from 'Nu, pogodi!' with all those folds on its body.

In the closet hung dresses and jeans that had become too small, but I couldn't bring myself to throw them away. After all, I was about to lose weight! In the end, the clothes went out of fashion, and I couldn't fit into them even with lubrication.

Go to the beach? God forbid, with such cellulite.

It seemed to me that for complete happiness, I just needed to get rid of the sides with folds. Most importantly, I wanted to finally exhale, stop thinking about losing weight and food.

And the task seemed simple: lose at least five kilograms. But I couldn't even do that.

The most annoying thing was that I wasn't lying on the couch thinking it would somehow resolve itself. I was constantly doing something!

I counted calories, got tired of that control, ate like crazy, and then counted again. There was no result.

At the gym, I worked like crazy, but after workouts, I wanted to eat so much that I swept everything in sight. And then I tried to work it off in the next workout. Hello, vicious cycle of samsara.

Don't even ask about fasting cardio and detox days: it's easier to say what nonsense I HAVEN'T tested on myself, up to diuretics.

I thought I just lacked willpower and discipline. That I needed to find the 'right' way to lose weight and finally stick to it properly.

But the problem wasn't about choosing a method at all; it was that I never considered my lifestyle, stress level, or food preferences.

So any scheme worked exactly until the first work crisis, vacation, or severe stress. Then everything went to hell and started over.

Behind my genetics and 'it's easy for you' are years where I felt absolutely no ease. There was a lot of shame, anger at myself, attempts to pull myself together, setbacks, and strange decisions.

From the outside, only the result is visible. And all those years of trying usually stay off-screen.
That's the kind of 'luck'.

True ease came when I stopped looking for another method and stopped thinking in terms of 'I need to find a way and endure' and finally started building a system.

The most interesting thing is that there is no willpower, prohibitions, or efforts to the point of bursting.
That's how you become that witch who eats and doesn't get fat. Because behind it is a system, not luck with genetics. And you don't even need to sell your soul to the devil))

🔥— write what that system is

❤️— I want to be a witch who eats and doesn't get fat. And also a candy:)
