π A small update as promised
1οΈβ£Export of projects and documents
Now a single export window is used for both an individual document and an entire project. You can choose the format and file parameters:
- PDF, DOCX, EPUB, HTML, MD or TXT;
- design style;
- page size;
- margins;
- table of contents;
- breaks between chapters or documents;
- export the project as a single file or an archive with separate files.
2οΈβ£ Book card
A book card has appeared in the project settings.
You can fill in the data that will be used during export:
- author;
- subtitle;
- annotation;
- dedication;
- service fields.
3οΈβ£ Covers and project statuses
Now you can add a cover to a project. It is displayed on the project card in the project list and helps you find the desired manuscript faster. We also added statuses for projects.
4οΈβ£ Comments and notes in the editor
A comment layer has appeared in the editor. Now you can select a text fragment, leave a comment on it, open the list of comments, reply in a thread, and mark the discussion as resolved.
We also added quick notes in the document margins. A note can be attached to a specific text block. It stays next to the desired place and is suitable for ideas, edits, references, questions about a scene, or short working notes.
5οΈβ£Improvements
Improved the insertion of results from the operation history. Now the editor will wait for confirmation before replacing or adding text. This reduces the risk of accidentally overwriting the desired fragment.
In Critic, we improved the mechanism for collecting chapters and mentions. If the text is not divided into chapters, the service can now build tables based on conditional parts of the text. This way, the report remains useful even for a solid document without explicit chapters.
More details about the update can be found in our article
We hope you like the update, and we will continue to improve and develop the service together with you β€οΈ By the way, there are many new ideas there, for those who haven't seen or voted yet.
