The Blagoveshchensk Transport Prosecutor's Office is investigating the crash of a Robinson helicopter in the Romny district of the Amur region. The aircraft was found approximately 1.5 km from the takeoff site. The helicopter was destroyed, and the bodies of the pilot and passengers were found at the scene.

The inspection is being conducted regarding compliance with flight safety requirements. According to the prosecutor's office, the helicopter belonged to the deceased pilot, but he did not have the right to operate it. The flight was carried out without notifying air navigation authorities. The helicopter was also not registered and had no registration marks.

The prosecutor's office is monitoring the investigation of a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation regarding violation of traffic safety rules and operation of an aircraft, resulting in the death of two or more people. The case was initiated by the Trans-Baikal Investigative Department of the Eastern Interregional Investigative Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
