New dormitory buildings for FEFU students are planned on Russky Island. The first buildings are expected to be completed in 2027.
The university has shown what the second phase of the campus might look like. The built-up area will exceed 76,100 square meters, with work taking place on a plot of over 41,000 square meters. The project is adapted to the island's complex terrain and proposes terracing to preserve the landscape and connect the new buildings with the existing campus.
The core of the project is a cascade of new hotel-type buildings. Residential buildings of varying heights with a stylobate part are planned. Greenery will cover about 30% of the site, and over 100 parking spaces will be provided nearby.
