What people come to a coach with?
In this post, I talked about coaching and how it differs from therapy. Now I want to show examples of questions you can bring to a coach.
A request to work with a coach is a goal you want to work on. Most often it sounds like "I want…". I want to understand what I'm missing to start a project. I want to feel confident before a presentation. It can be one specific task or a big life question that can be broken down into several topics for discussion.
Depending on the requests, coaching can be divided into areas: career development coaching, business coaching, relationship coaching, personal growth coaching, sports coaching, life coaching, and others. Here are examples of requests from the areas I work with.
Career coaching
Helps to figure out professional goals, find or change a development direction, cope with career crises.
Examples of goals:
▪️Determine where to grow next in your profession.
▪️Understand whether I want to change my field of activity.
▪️Stop putting off important tasks and projects.
Personal growth coaching
Focus on developing yourself, your habits, confidence, inner resources. The goal here is to see how to reach a new level in life and thinking.
Examples of goals:
▪️Learn to say "no" when it's important for me.
▪️Increase self-confidence and confidence in my decisions.
▪️Stop comparing myself to others.
Life coaching
About balance and harmony: work, personal life, rest. It's about being able to hear yourself and find resources for everyday tasks.
Examples of goals:
▪️Find a balance between work and rest.
▪️Establish a routine and stop burning out.
▪️Allocate more time for yourself and loved ones.If you didn't find a suitable example, go to the channel, I'm ready to answer your questions#about_coaching
