AI Doesn't Just Draw Pictures. It's Already Rewriting Physics
Scientists from Emory University have pulled off something incredible: they taught artificial intelligence not just to process data, but to discover new laws of nature.
The team combined experiments with so-called "dusty plasma" (ionized gas with dust particles) and a specially trained neural network.
The result? The AI produced a description of the forces between particles with over 99% accuracy and... accidentally corrected the scientists.
The coolest part is that the method works not only for plasma. Now they want to apply it to living systems as well: for example, to understand how cells "escape" from tumors during metastasis.
