Surprisingly, I often get asked this question. I suggest businesses create content, engage with their audience, and assign someone from their team—a copywriter with two degrees and experience in television and business publishing.
And I get: "Well, we tried SMM, it doesn't work" 😀
Meaning the audience engagement through content they built via some random student they found through ads and paid 15,000 rubles 😂
Of course it won't work. Students nowadays are quite cunning; they'll delegate it to ChatGPT to produce bland posts like "Today is the day of the day... We congratulate everyone on this... In honor of the holiday, we give a 5% discount, so buy our shoes"
💪 By increasing level, price, and accordingly, results:
1. 🤖 ChatGPT: free garbage posts.
2. 👦🏼 Schoolkid: internet memes + clumsy attempts to push a product.
3. 🧑🏽🦱 Student: copies everyone they see, not understanding what they're doing or why.
4. 🧑🏼💻 Freelancer from a platform: half-heartedly does another order out of 50, with a meager budget. Works at the cost of their self-respect and health.
5. 👩🏼🎨 Average copywriter: uses templates outdated by 20 years from the 2000s internet, doesn't even bother to understand your audience, but at least writes without errors.
6. 🥷🏻 Decent content maker: knows their worth, is in high demand, laughs at job postings like "do content, photos, reels, be an assistant, commute to the office, mop floors, and moonlight as an accountant"
