Watched "To Kill or Not to Kill" (where the comma is obvious, it's Hollywood cinema after all) by Timur Bekmambetov... and I even liked it

The director-experimenter-visionary-madman (choose as appropriate) figured out how to organically combine his beloved screenlife format with normal cinema for people. That is, most of the time we watch footage from video cameras, videos from smartphones, and so on, but at the same time we see "real" scenes with actors, where Rebecca Ferguson, who played the AI, particularly excelled. Perhaps this is the best on-screen artificial intelligence we've seen (Scarlett Johansson in "Her" we only heard).

As for the plot and themes raised, there are no revelations here, except that Bekmambetov's AI can somehow give emotion if you talk to it properly. Otherwise, false accusations, a slew of suspects, revenge, and everything viewers are used to in similar thrillers are in place.

As a simple entertainment without the need to think, the film works fine and even entertains. And with such a concept, one could make a decent procedural series!
