You may have already read the trendy book "Blue Ocean Strategy", which talks about the "red ocean" — full of competition, and the "blue" — transparent, serene, where your business develops peacefully.
The whole problem is that this book does not provide clear guidance on how to find or create such a "blue ocean" for yourself. It only gives examples of niches someone has occupied, but that is not enough.
Recently, I had an idea while searching LinkedIn for entrepreneurs' posts with their opinions on how to find and test new niches.
My solution
To avoid competition and occupy a "blue ocean", you need to offer customers something that would be suicidal for your competitors if they tried to offer it.
Let me explain. It should be a solution that only you can afford.
👉🐟 Like fish that can live on sea anemones.
👉Like Amazon, which offered free 2-day delivery across the US.
➡️ If you develop such an offer, that's when the interesting part begins.
