A verdict has been passed in Angarsk on a commercial bribery case. The Angarsk City Court found a former head of a commercial organization's division guilty under paragraphs "v" and "g" of Part 7 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to case materials, in May 2025, while working as the head of a division of an energy supply company, the woman received 200,000 rubles from the head of a management company. The money was given for the illegal write-off of debt for electricity used for common household needs. After this, the management company's debt to the resource supply organization decreased, and the damage exceeded 500,000 rubles. The case was uncovered by the police.

The woman pleaded guilty. The court imposed a fine of 1.2 million rubles and banned her from holding certain positions for 2 years. Additionally, 200,000 rubles, equivalent to the bribe received, were confiscated to the state revenue.
