This time — about why all my attempts to use motivation as fuel always ended in failure, and how I eventually fell in love with discipline.
But not the kind of discipline that involves unyielding willpower, a minute-by-minute schedule, and life in a rigid framework. When you get up at 5 a.m., stick your face in a bowl of ice, and all that.
A different one. Discipline with a human face, when it's just a tool, not an end goal. When it simply serves as a quiet helper, rather than turning into a warden in your personal prison.
Perhaps now it will be clearer to you why I chose 'Discipline beats motivation' as the first name for this blog. If you remember it, of course)

I'm not asking you to subscribe and hit the bell. If you become interested, you'll want to subscribe on your own. Otherwise, no amount of asking will help. Makes sense, right?
