▶️ With the advent of artificial intelligence, disinformation has become a serious problem. When used maliciously, AI can be used to create deepfakes by synthesizing images, text, and audio content on the internet. That is why Fujitsu has announced the creation of Frontria, a consortium of 50 global organizations, to address the growing problems associated with disinformation, false information, AI system vulnerabilities, and regulatory compliance.

▶️ According to Fujitsu, disinformation has led to economic losses of about 12.2 trillion yen since 2023. At the same time, businesses face financial risks due to non-compliance and cyberattacks. Therefore, Frontria's goal is to create reliable applications and services, as well as to share information about their use cases. The company will also promote advanced technological developments that will help ensure safe access to artificial intelligence technologies.

▶️ To address such issues, Frontria will create a "technology pool" that will include innovation partners, technology intellectual property providers, data providers, engineering partners, and incubators to collaborate and find solutions. Specifically, three community groups from the consortium will work on measures to counter disinformation, combat false information and fake content, ensure trust to address ethical and legal issues in AI, and ensure AI safety for secure use and operation.

▶️ At the same time, working groups will contribute to the development of more advanced technologies and the creation of applications. In addition, the developer community will focus on key technological developments through knowledge sharing and competitions.
